Assistive Technology Consideration in the IEP

This session is designed to help parents understand how Assistive Technology (AT) is considered during the IEP process and what it means for their child.
Participants will learn about:
1. Evidence based best practices that teams use to decide whether a student may benefit from AT
2. The types of tools and supports that can be explored
3. How decisions are documented in the IEP.
From this session parents will feel more confident navigating the AT consideration process and advocating for appropriate support.
