Recognize the importance of making timely referrals to Early Intervention and follow-up services when developmental concerns arise.
Understand the role of the Early Intervention system and the purpose of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
Describe the transition process from Early Intervention to Special Education and the development of an Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Identify tools and resources to share with families to support evaluation, services, and transition prior to age three.
