Addressing Bullying: What Families need to know and how to respond
October 13 at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Bullying can have a lasting impact on a child’s well-being and school experience. This session equips families with the knowledge and tools to recognize the signs of bullying and respond in a proactive, supportive way.
Participants will learn how to identify different forms of bullying, including in-person and online behaviors, and how to talk with their child in a way that builds trust and encourages open communication.
The workshop also provides guidance on documenting concerns, working collaboratively with schools, and advocating effectively for a safe and respectful learning environment.
Through practical strategies and real-life scenarios, families will gain confidence in how to respond, support their child, and help prevent bullying while promoting empathy, resilience, and positive peer relationships.
