2026 SPAN Resource Parent (SRP) – In Person Course (SPRING)
April 15 at 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

The course includes six sessions on consecutive Wednesdays from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
This training will be conducted in English, with simultaneous translation into Spanish & Arabic
Participants learn about:
- Laws and regulations
- Special education processes
- Strategies for working effectively with the school team
- Dynamics of systems that serve children with disabilities and special health care needs
Self-Advocates, Parents, Caregivers, and Professionals are welcome to participate.
The training is free for participants who agree to volunteer for 30 hours upon completion. There is a $350 fee for those who do not wish to volunteer.
The course includes six sessions on consecutive Wednesdays from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. between April 15th-May 20th.
