This workshop is designed to provide an overview of the role and function of a Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG) and discuss best practices, tips, and strategies for effective implementation of SEPAGs or other parent groups. Anyone interested in developing an effective parent group to support the engagement of parents to improve outcomes for all students, especially students identified for special education services are welcome. Parents, teachers, administrators and other school staff would benefit from this workshop.
