DESCRIPTION:The course includes six sessions on consecutive Wednesdays from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. \nThis training will be conducted in English\, with simultaneous translation into Spanish & Arabic \nParticipants learn about: \n\nLaws and regulations\nSpecial education processes\nStrategies for working effectively with the school team\nDynamics of systems that serve children with disabilities and special health care needs\n\nSelf-Advocates\, Parents\, Caregivers\, and Professionals are welcome to participate. \nThe training is free for participants who agree to volunteer for 30 hours upon completion.
